Subject: Cracking knees after replacement
I am 56 and have recently had both knees replaced. I have psoriatic arthritis. I am now pain-free but both knees crack with every movement. They can crack up to 3 times when I take one step. They also crack on the slightest movement sideways. When I do keep-fit it is a nightmare! In a quiet room you can here the cracks as I walk. Is this normal as it is very irritating and I cannot get used to it. It is 9 months since my second knee was replaced?
