Subject: fat fifty and fairly fed up

i have been on this site before a few months ago when things were bad then apart from my ankles things improved but out of the blue yesterday i felt as if a horse had kicked me right at the top of my thigh. at first i thought i may have banged agaist somthing but no sign of a bruise. it has got much worse today and now the pain is becoming more recognisable. like my other joints its hot and painful. but what joint is it. this is terrible. i feel as if i am falling apart at the seams when will this stop. I know your all much worse than me i and i am taking advantage only contacting you when things go wrong (bit like my adult children really!) you know this is really scary i thought i would have loads of time to do the things i wanted to do but if this goes on i will be lucky if i can walk without a struggle i could cry i feel so sorry for myself

kiora strange u should say that a couple of times have had bad pain in left thigh about half way up as u say no joint there. not been bad when been gp so not asked what it is perhaps i should lol. u r welcome to contact when ever u feel the need we all need suport i am lucky have oa but not bad (well done lots of moaning lately) takes time to get your head around it u go up and down but as u find more out u will realise with the right meds early enough u can live a normal (what ever that is) life u just have to take more care what u eat and how much u do at once so hope u pain free soon have u oa or ra ?
