Hiya Emma,
I was diagnosed with RA in December, and started sulfasalizine in April this year.
I was in shock to when diagnosed and still am if I think about it to much.
The medication sacred me to death after reading about it,and I was dreading taking it.
I can honestly say I have not had one bad reaction to the sulfa, and although I still am not 100%, there has been a big improvement in my well being.
There is always someone on here to support you when you need it.
Take Care

Regards to all.. it is scary at first ,, quite difficult to get your head around.. one day fine.. next day.. unknown? That's the difficult one to overcome and accept. If you can live with uncertainty and still cope your well on the way to managing. It takes a little time and of course your meds. You can still have a productive, fulfilled life.. just a little different than perhaps what you though.. you have still got a life with Arthritis is what I was trying to get at.. Good luck to all
