Subject: hydrocortoisne steroids
can anyone help i have addisons and am on 20mg of hydrocortoisne daily as well as my methorexate and thyroid tablets also other medication i am having problems with my balance when i walk i feel as if i am going to fall and vere to one side been to loads of doctors at hospital they cant find out why had brain scans everything does anyone know would addisons or hydrocortoisne cause this also what is going on with with this site thanks lol

Hi lol , what type of Addisons you got , I assume its type two , I dont know alot about it but my niece has had it for over 35 years & type 1 , think she is on 20mg hydrocortoisne + she has alot of other problems including negitive RA is there a addisons forum anywhere , know its pretty rare

Hi colin its Lol the arthritis in my feet and ankles have gone worse in alot of pain consultant sent me for a us on both feet came back the inflamation was worse nurse phoned me and told me to take an extra methotrexate which is now 8 but i am feeling dizzy eventhough i only started this week would the one tablet increase cause this

lol my niece got addisons + alot of other problems , she had arthritis in her knee & swollen like a balloon , the consultant put a needle & got covered in mess , with extra meth should not make much differance , just make sure you take enough folic acid try to get your feet up as much as poss , there are levels of problems with feet & ankles , mine has gone over on its self but they wont opperate because of other problems I got
