I am Susan and I have osteoarthritis in my right knee I am 56. I do need to loose weight but the pain is really bad it's the knawing ache and my knee moves in its socket. I have been to the doctors and he perscribed pain killers but the knee has got worse I can't walk at night as I have been on my knee all day and it starts to stiffen. I feel really down with it my mum and gran had it. It has stopped m doing a lot of things.

Hi Susan, You should ask the doctor to refer you to the hospital to see what exactly is going on with it. If it is very bad they can operate. When my knee was very sore I found wearing a support om it helped a bit and also massaging some voltorol cream onto it.

I have R.A on my knees and the pain can be quite bad, I was told to rub the good old vicks on the aching knee joints and Thank God it helped. Something special in vicks helped, please try as its quite safe apart from feeling bit cold and tingly due to the menthol action of vicks.

Hi Ladies, I was reading on the internet that Vicks has so many other uses and joint pain was one of them. Suz it was good to hear from some one that has tried it and now I am going to give it a go. Take care all xxxx
