Hi all Looking through previous messages and someone mention they were going to see if they could get one of those self injection pens that diabetics use where you just push it to the skin and it does everything? anyone Heard of this or tried it?

this is my first time here so hello to you all. Im not on enbril but am on humira and have been using the epipen since i started on it 9 months ago and its fab.Im such a big baby so was very worried but i can honestly say its so quick and easy. It might make you jump and stings a little but it isn't awful,id rather put up with that than the chronic pain i was experiencing. It has been a wonder drug for me. A nurse from the company who supplies it came out to my home and talked me through everything firstand she was brilliant. So for me its all good!

Just been prescribed the enbril injection by the myclic pen system.Should have had my first jab yesterday but postponed due to a chest infection. Not looking forward to injecting myself though - i'm a coward! But i will try anything at the moment.

Hi Julie, ive now got that pen of Enbrel, had it about a month now, use to have the syringe filled injections.... its uselful if u r afraid or stresses or phibic about Injections....however, altho Im gald I have the pen, it still gives me huge brusies....lol not saying any more, I know we r to give support and help one another, but at end of say we r all different and our bodies react differntly to others that may be on the Enbrel Pen, I can only tell U of mine, like I said Glad im on the pen, the other one use to fill me with Dread, honest, I use to hate it, I dont feel like that with the New Enbrel Pen, so that is fantastic, but for me, and remember only saying what happens to Me personally, I thoght it would end the sting or the sorness of injecting, but for Me, it hasnt! however, I must stress, we r all diff, for example there is a fella on here that has had NO side affects since starting MTX!! Amazing...... anyway I personally wld never tell anyone to NOT take something or try something just becos it is a small prob to me...go for it, so much better than the dreaded syringes.....gooood luck, know u will be happier on that...let us all know take care Jill

Hi Cherry, I work for a market research company that specialises in the medical device field. We are looking for RA sufferers that inject Humira and either live in the London area or are willing and able to travel to London to take part in an interview. The interview will relate to a new device to help RA sufferers administer their drugs. We will pay £200 to cover expenses and the interview would last approx 90 minutes. Would you be interested? Please do get in touch if you would like to know more - george.ashford@creativemedicalresearch.com Best regards, George
