Hi I'm new to the forum. I've had PSA for 22 years, I'm currently taking Methotrexate and Cimzia I've had a wrist fusion and I'm currently recovering from MCP joint replacement surgery and I'm a bit fed up as I can't do anything. I've found the forum interesting reading so thought I'd say hi

Welcome to the forum Karen. I've had RA for around fifteen years and have found the people on the forum to be a great help to me and i'm sure you will too. Can i ask you what MCP joint replacement is? I hope you feel better soon. I had a half hip replacement eighteen months ago and it took me a wee while to recover from it but you will get there. Hope you keep posting. xx

Hi Lucy, thanks for the reply. The MCP is the knuckle joint, I've had the index finger to the right hand replaced

Ouch, I would imagine the wrist replacement is painful, I had a wrist fusion and that was bad enough. I'm 4 weeks post op and very fed up of the splints, another 4 weeks at least. Wishing you a good recovery
