Subject: Re: Arthritis in my spine
Hi M Your story sounds identical to my own. The spine / neck and chest pains (especially between my shoulder blades and rib cage ) are horrid memories - and I really feel for you! I am not sure what blood tests you are having - but likely to be HLA B27 test for Ankylosing Spondylitis- known to effect younger people in this way. I have found massive relief through diet changes and this is grounded in science with most forms of arthritis being a cross reaction to either gut bacteria proteins or food protein (modified by a process called cittrulination). There is much support on this on the KICKAS.ORG website - founded by research done by Professor Brian Ebringer at King College Hospital. I would advise trying a temporary fast (or elimination diet) to see if the inflammation eases - if it does ease off then you can dig deeper and seem appropriate help - as doctors will only help us by pain control (making the gut even weaker) and ultimately switching off the immune system
