Subject: Rheumatoid factor test result

Hi. Can anyone explain my rheumatoid factor test result please. I am not diagnosed with RA. I just want to understand the test result.
My result was expressed as:
20 iu/mL<

I do not understand what this means, with the < symbol after the result. The normal range is expressed as <20 iu/mL, as in "less than 20...".
Does my result mean less than 20? Or 20?

Thank you.

It means the normal range is 0- 20. So if your result was less than 20 it is normal, i.e. you don't have the RF. I think.
