Hi Eileen, sorry I got dragged into a discussion that derailed your thread. Do come back and tell us how you got on with your appeal.

Hello Sleek Fox.
Thank you for asking. The latest from the Blue Badge Team is I have to get back to them when I've seen the consultant surgeon. That's in about a month from now.
I have an appointment with my GP before that and I'm going to ask him to put something in writing. Pretty sure he'll oblige.
I'm so cross because I have never claimed any form of benefit apart from my maternity grants in 1976 and 1977 and family allowance.
Lois, thanks for being there. Chin is still up.
Been out all day today spending time with our grandchildren (and their mum and dad of course) Hence only just getting round to answering.

Hi Eileen so glad you came back on. I thought you had gone.
What a lovely day you must of had. I say that because I had my two youngest grandchildren around today.

Glad that chin is still up. I am sure your GP will give you a note.

The month will be gone before you know it and I hope it all goes well for you. Remember to tell it at it's worst. I used to say things like I am fine it's not too bad then wonder why I was being ignored.
Sometimes I write down things I want to ask because so many times I have walked out and thought I wanted to ask this or that or tell them something and forgot.

Good luck with it and let us know how you are doing x

Yes lois, I'm guilty of not telling it like it is but I'll be laying it on thicker this time.
Writing things down is good too. I often do that when seeing doctors and have even written a letter before the appointment about things that were difficult to say.
Lovely time yesterday. Saw the eldest boy play football for the first time. He played well but the team lost. Youngest one's birthday today so we had pre-birthday lunch out and a cake.

Good for you sometimes we have to shout loud to be heard and we do need to tell it as it is.
At the end of the day we are the ones with all the pain.
So glad you enjoyed your day.

Take care x
