hi Babs , go to your GP or ask her rheumatologist about her eyes , alot of us get problems with them & get prescription eye drops for them , mostly it dry eyes but some of us have other problems that need refering pleased the mtx pen working well , I could not get on with the syringes myself so endded back on tablets , used the pens for biologics without any problems

Hi I have never heard of the pen method for Methatrexate.. I hate taking so many tablets so I may ask if I can try it. I too get gel for the dry eyes. I hope your daughter has good results from her medication Babs. Take care, Emm

Has she had her eyes checked out to make sure it is the mtx causing it? Just in case she has issues like blocked glands which which other things could help her. If she gets eyedrops, Hyloforte are the best I've tried on prescription and Lacrilube at night. I like the look of the pens, I have pre-filled syringes for mtx and was fine with them but due to go on Enbrel and was shown the pens last week and they seem so much easier.
