Subject: arthritus fix - it works & it is a natural substance

I became afflicted with arthritus in my sholders & my doctor proscribed Viox.
This was a year before Viox was banned by the FDC.
Many rumors floated around about Viox being bad for your heart & circulatory system.
BESIDES it only fixed 75 or 80% of the pain.

I read an article about a chirpractor in Alva, OK that was raising elk for their horns.
(Elk grow new horns every year)

The article talked about ELK VELVET that was helping people with arthritus and muscle weakness.

IT REALLY WORKS. I'll post more info on this.

I called the chiropractor & they said they were having great success with Elk Velvet.

They didn't sell it but told me to get it at a helth food store.

I was told to take 4 capsules a day. If that worked try 3.
If it didn't work take 6 or even 8.
There is NO SIDE EFFECTS at all.

It worked.

Thats 8 or 10 years ago... It took time, but now I only need to take 1 capsule a day.

TRY IT..!

Its a shame it hasn't improved your spelling too Walter. For some one that has had arthritis for more than ten years, I would have assumed that was a word one would have mastered to spell correctly by now.

Not so sure?

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12003439

Study from 2002!

It is worth doing a search online to see if the various weird and wonderful ideas that are touted are real and to understand their standing.

Another paper reviewing health claims of this supplement - and this review paper wants to poopoo it.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23321886

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18077778

As a supplement it contains various hormones including progesterone.

So guys - it is a bonafide supplement that has been used for quite a few years and has appeared to help some people.

It appears also from the triple blind / randomised trials that they put a lot of effort in to proving that it doesn't help that much. I wonder why they went to all that effort.

I think people are being disrespectful. I don't know what to think... but I believe all sorts of twaddle like diet change impacting arthritis. :)

Sean, you say a bonafide supplement. If I took 100mg of powdered frog and eye of newt on a daily basis I would be supplementing my diet, so therefore that too would be bonafide. Most by products of animal origin contain traces of hormones infact nearly everything aroung us contains hormones.Im open minded to anything that could help beat these horrible diseases but elk velvet, please .!!!

I wouldn't want to take a supplement containing various hormones, including progesterone. However, I don't think that is what other posters mind about. There have been a few people spamming on here and advertising various supplements. I imagine that is what other posters think is going on.

p.s. I don't want to get into an online fight with you, Sean, but supplements aren't always safe to take.

I think the problem is that the word 'supplement' covers a multitude of things. The idea that something that is a natural substance is, ergo, safe to take is nonsense. Lead is a natural substance, so is ricin. Wouldn't touch either of them.

I don't know much about elk velvet. I had a quick google and didn't particularly like what I read. Particularly for people with oestrogen dependent cancers as it can impact negatively on them. It so easy to suggest things but you have no idea what other conditions people have or their situation.

I just came across this thread by accident on Google. The key word here I think is RESEARCH. If you really want to find something natural that is genuinely helping arthritis suffers then checkout Sizzling Minerals at http://www.simplynaturals.com

Don't want anyone to think I'm spamming here I just felt duty bound to reply on this thread. I am a director and owner of the company. Hope you guys on here find our product helpful to you.

All the best...
Eric

PS. You should also research the difference between plant derived 'metals' such as aluminium, iron etc and the metallic form which is totally different.

How very sad to read your comments :-( when I see so many being helped. Not everyone of course because it depends on what is the root cause in the first place.

It's not a miracle cure, it's simply plant minerals that we mine from a 75 million year old seam. This is natural vegetable matter from the dinosaur era. All it does is put back the mineral elements into your body (no longer in modern food) so the body is then capable of repairing itself as it should. Nothing complicated or modified in a lab here.

I find putting foreign synthetic chemicals (drugs) into your body over a long period of time "beyond belief" too ;-)

Eric I find your self promotion quite patronising. Do you really believe that most people with arthritis haven't spent hours and hours researching their illnesses, trying to obtain any information that may help or even cure them of pain ? My foreign synthetic chemical (drug) of choice "Minocin", has put me in remission. I had a devil of fight to get the stuff but its working for me. After wasting hundreds of pounds on supplements I now think that they are a waste of money. All my very healthy diet now needs supplementing with is a probiotic. If your sizzling supplements are so great then why haven't you got your own forum with thousands of members writing wonderful testamonials ?

Oh WOW... I only popped on here and made some comments in the hope of helping people. So, anyway, I'm sorry if I've offended anyone and I sincerely wish you all the best of health for the future. I'll pop back off again...

Just one last comment for information only...

Sodium Bicarbonate (NaHCO3) is a natural substance used in the human body within the bloodstream to regulate pH as a counterbalance to acid build up, which is critical to life. It affects the pH of cells and tissues, balances cell voltage, and increases CO2 which helps with oxygenation. Sodium Bicarbonate is a powerful medical tool that everyone would benefit by knowing more about.

Sodium Bicarbonate can be used as a first line of defence for a vast range of sickness including, cancer, flu, diabetes, kidney disease and even the common cold. Sodium Bicarbonate can be used in many forms whether transdermally in a bath, orally or nebulised for lung conditions. It is so powerful in it's ability to detox that it can even be used against radiation exposure.

Kind regards
Eric

bsk before you ask admin to remove Erics adverts I think we should all thank him for the info about bicarbonate of soda. He is quite right about the health benefits and the added bonus is that it can be purchased for about 50p for a tub in any super market. He has saved us all from spending a fortune on his fizzling vitamins !!!

heh! Mind you, if you google, you can see things are not as straightforward as Eric professes. You can get side effects, drug interaction, intolerance with sodium bicarbonate. Just because you have certain minerals in your body, it doesn't mean to say you can take more of them with impunity.

I don't know whether the benefits people get from Fizzy minerals is from the bicarb which alkalises the body. I have been taking the minerals in a powdered form - it works out about half the price and has no bicarb. I have not noticed any changes since taking it. I am hoping I am getting the minerals I need from it, but wonder as the amounts are very small - mostly way below daily recommended amounts. I am not sure if I have been wasting my money.
