Subject: Stem cell treatment, anyone know anything about it for RA?

Hi everyone.

Has anyone any thoughts on this subject.

Hi Emm, yes I am waiting for that lol! Not sure if it is being trialled or not but wouldn't be surprised.

Oh how interesting, how does it work?
How do you get on a trial.
I would give it a try, after hearing all the for's and against's.
Do you ask your own specialist.

I don't know Emm, if it is being trialled here or not. Best ask your consultant. I haven't heard of anyone having it.

I'm not sure either Emm if there are any trials here. I have read about people going abroad to be treated for various diseases but don't know how successful it has been.

Oh well, At least it may benefit people in future, we can remain hopeful for them.
I think it seems a more positive idea, than all these drugs we take that are not cures, they just help pain and modify.
It seems it could help lot's of diseases and conditions. But is just in the early stages of development.

I don't think it is that far off Emm! I'm hoping it will be one of those things that is fairly routine in a few years. Things can move very quickly in the medical world.
