Subject: Merry Christmas to you all
a quick question - i am on metoject once a week - the leaflet with it says no alcohol - do you think a couple of glasses of cheap champagne on christmas day will be ok?? Have a great Festive Season guys and thank you all so much for being there for me throughout this past year - wouldn't have coped without you

merry christmas willis i thing it should be ok, your not getting drunk are you? lol most have warnings but i think they are just because the liver counts can rise. last year i had a few drinks while on methatrexate x

Happy Christmas Willis! I was allowed about 5/6 units on Mtx but not on day of injection or day after. You should check with your pharmacist though!

Hi Willis,
I usually have a glass of red wine to my Sunday roast each week and I am still on 25mg of methotrexate.
I asked my doc and he say's a couple each week would not do any harm don't know if it is the same as champagne but I suppose it is all wine so it should be ok.
If you do decide to have them enjoy them and Happy Christmas to you Deborah x.
