Hi Tracey

would try to get the rheumatologist to inject your ankle with a steriod , you may need your keel done as well which would have to be done under x-ray

some Rheumatology have a foot clinic & other thing they can do is give you a ankle immobilizer , try the steriod injections first

Tracey if its not worked then imagine its the small bones in your ankle & not the ankle joint

I have had RA since mid 90s , had opperations on both ankle (Triple Arthrodesis) fusing small joints in ankle & both ankle joints will need fusing/replacing at some point

the joints I had fused they can inject with steriod under x-ray conditions , its the sideways movement in the ankle they control & if they can improve with an injection its a lot better , or maybe get them to look at your meds if your RA not under control

one other thing I found that helps with the pain is a Circulation Booster V3
