Subject: Arthritis Product Design - Research 2

Dear all,

Sorry for being rude.
This is my PART II survey, it consist of 12 quick questions.

http://www.surveybuilder.com/s/K6bWPrgpYAA

"My name is Simmie, from Linton University (Malaysia) / University of East London. I am a product design student currently conducting a research for my final year project. Currently I am designing adaptive or assistive products for people that suffer from Hand Impairment(s) due to Arthritis in order to ease their daily life.

I am hoping that through product design innovation, weâre able to ease the difficulties & challenges faced by people with special needs as well as people that suffer from hand impairment and also to improve their quality of life. I hope that you can assist me in my research by participating in my survey or by sharing this survey. Thank you for your time & assistance."

did try survey but it was not working , not sure if its this lappy or what , as for those pictures you just need realy basic day to day like milk bottles & taps

would be easier for you to go to a rheumatod support group or rheumatology department & ask people face to face what helps them & what works

Hey Colin,

Will check on the link again, so sorry...
Hmm it seems that it can work on my pc...
If you don't mind perhaps i can email you the link?

Unfortunately i did went to my country's support group but unfortunately the respond was not as expected. I did try to contact hospital etc but they require a long process for me to apply in for research purposes. :D

Besides that, i have this question to ask, i wondering if let say an object/ thing touches your joints during/ not during flares up, eg. Hard objects touches your joint bones, rub unto your muscle etc when performing activities like grip, carrying with hand etc. Do you actually feel painful because of this reason ?
