Subject: Long time no talk

Hi

Just thought I would post to see how some of the people I know on here are doing.

Not much has changed I feel a lot worse than have done for while and they have removed all my meds again and playing pass the parcel between the GP and Hospital to who wants to deal with my condition and who wants to use their budget to gimmie some new meds.

Im waiting to see the Pain Clinic on 28th December and been waiting 2 weeks for new stomach meds and anti-depressants...but no-one wants to prescribe them.

Still arguing with the DLA and at Tribunal stage but looking at what has just been sent to me unless I cant walk at all and cant manage to do anything for myself I wont get anything and get screwed over after 7 months of arguing with them.

Back at work which isnt good as im struggling daily and just getting harder and hard esp with RL as split from long term GF after 12 years and going seperate ways ...so depression is bad atm

Hope people are well and have a good holiday (whatever people celebrate) I as usual will be catching up on my blu ray collection and eating turkey as thats the only part of xmas I celebrate lol

take care

Lee

Hi Lee, good to hear from you. Sorry you are still having a rough time with your health. How can they leave you without your meds this is just madness.
I can't believe nothings change with the DLA.

Sorry about your break up with your GF. Try to keep your chin up. Easy for me to say I know.
Lee fair play to you returning to work. As you say it is a struggle for you,so deep down you must be a tough cookie.Give your self the credit you deserve.
I will be eating Turkey also LOL. Catching up on Blu-ray sounds good and relaxing!
Hope you have a good holiday also.
Take Care X

I'm not sure how it works but it doesn't seem right to me.Your talking a year and three months will you get the money back dated? I hope so. Well look on the bright side when its sorted maybe could afford a long deserved holiday LOL Good luck and Take Care. It seems Dilizjo is unwell at the moment hoping she is well to enjoy christmas with her family. X

Hi Marlene,
Ho are you doing? Hope you are keeping warm and thinking of you as you battle the pain. Lee, i hope you get the issues with the DLA sorted, what the **** are they playing at? Have you heard of the Benefits and Work forum? They are really good and their appeals guides are brilliant, is someone from CAB helping out with the appeal? Really sorry to read about your recent split with your girlfriend. Warm wishes, as Marlene has said, keep your chin up x

My Tribunal is sometime in August or September 2012 I think, ive give up and just said deal with it, I wont be attending as i'd prob get thrown out for swearing at them due to the length of time they messed me about.

Still in a lot of pain on no meds apart from doubling Amitryptaline atm and was supposed to be on a pain management program but still not got the letter etc after a month, so the pain clinic was a waste of time.

Trying to reloace back to northwest, Liverpool way to be closer to friends as nothing keeping me in York now, so stress through the roof but at least being single etc I can just come home and go to bed or whatever without having to worry about someone else

Ill try to keep popping back more often

Lee, i know you are feeling down about everthing but you should go to the tribunal, don't let them get away with not paying you!!! I was also supposed to go to the pain clinic but like you I never heard a thing. This is down to wether your GP wants to pay for it, mine clearly don't.
I think you are right to relocate back near your friends, they will give you the support you need. Good luck with it.
Sometimes we need to take time out alone to put everything into perspective. It seems to me you have done just that!!.
I hope everthing turns out well for you. Lee you know I have been here for you from the start of your posts, so I know what a slog it has been for you.
Take Care Keep your chin up and above all keep smiling XX

Tribunal turn my appeal down but dont say why.

I have to now write so that they can send me the reasons why.

Absolutley disgraceful the way the government treat people.

There are those who need help and dont get it and there are those who will exploit every loophole going and sit on benefit after benefit when they are fit to work etc
