Subject: abit worried

hi all i got hold of rheumatology this morning things have been sorted out but i asked them i had a cortisone injection two weeks ago they said it would take two to three weeks to kick in but ever since my right hip where needle went in is really painful its painful when i lay on trhat side and sometimes difficult to walk on they said it shouldnt be like that after two weeks but it can rarely happen they said it could be a bruised muscle or muscle could have bled abit im worried as to what this means

hi laura i've herd for a broused muscle which makes the site sore and a bit painful but have always been told the injection should have worked by 1-2 weeks if it hasn't then it won't work. normally 2-3 days it takes to work. take care. x
