I sympathise as I know from my own experiences that the Hospitals move at their own pace which is slow.

My Specialist last time gave me an injection in the hip which I told him wouldnt work but he was set on doing it and nothing else.

I have PA and have had my knee and the surrounding areas injected a lot of the last couple of years so I am unsure why they refused you. Mr local GP did one so that might be an option.

I was supposed to have a specialist appointment ages ago but keep getting the too busy to see you excuse.

Speak to your GP if specialist doesnt give you an answer or appropriate pain relief
