Subject: Margaret Hills Treatment
Hi, I have suffered with rheumatoid arthritis since the age of 2 and have been taking medication since the age of 5. However, I am now 24 and have decided to come off my medication and try treating my arthritis with the Margaret Hills diet. I just wondered if anyone else has tried or is doing this diet and whether you have found it to work well for you or not? Joanne

Haven't tried it but do have the book. Would be interested to hear others point of view also. Would be careful about coming off medication though. Perhaps do Margaret Hills alongside the meds you are on first..x

is that the cider vinegar diet? ive been given so much advice/old wives tales about what to eat and what not to eat that i'll be really interested to hear if it works. I'm sure we're all very different and many of us will react really strongly to some foods and drinks. I agree with Patricia that it might not be wise to come off your drugs too quickly, i guess see how you feel on the diet. good luck nic

Don't know much about it myself either, but yes it does include CVD (apple cider vinegar) which BTW if you don't already know is alkaline not acidic. I guess coming off the meds is up to you, but not knowing what actually medications you are taking I would be careful. Keep us posted though,

Whatever you try, try it under the guidance of some expert. Else you will start blaming that natural medicines don't work and are just a waste of time and money.
