Hi nickyliz sorry your not well hon i think most people are effected by the change in weather one way or another. If your in pain you may need some other meds to tied you over until your mtx kicks in dont just put up with it why not have a chat to your rheumy nurse or gp x

HI NIcky
I didn't make the connection with the weather until i saw your post and this weekend has been really really bad for me as well.
I am about a month behind you in diagnosis and medication - i am on 10mg of metx this w/e moving up gradually to 17.5mg. Just rang the GP to ask if i could get something more than the codeine and diclofenex that i am currently on. How are you doing today?

Hi everyone,

Thank you for getting back to me, but this weekend was bad and a feel i am getting a bit better now having my injection yesterday,

I am on 15mg and going to 17,5 next month, i try not to take to many pain killers, i cant anti-imflams as i had a tummy ulca,

Some day i know peole say listen to your body and rest but how can i when i work, i do feel worried that if i was to listen to my body about 3 days out of the 5 i would not go to work, i dont think that would go down to well.

How do other people cope,

Nicky xxx
