Hi I have been having pains in my feet for 2 years and around 6 month ago it got worse and worse now its at the point that i cant walk proper on my left foot and walking with a limp which is causing pain in legs and back. I have had an xray which the doctor says i have arthritis but not what type or how to help..i went to Dubai and the pain got so bad the doctor gave me pain injections and put me on diclopheic and colchicine and codine then tramadol but nothing helping me walk. I need to see a podiatrist but the waiting list is long and im going on holiday in a week. Can anybody suggest anything i can use for my feet insoles , creams etc?? im 36 and have 2 small children and so frustrated as i cant walk far with them, Thanks Carmen

Hi Carmen, My feet were really bad a few months back and a friend suggested trying 'Fitflops'. They're designed as exercise sandals but also absorb the pressure and shock from the ground as you walk and lots of people with arthritis have found they relieved the symptoms. They might just get you through your hols until you get sorted. www.fitflop.com A bit pricey but I was desperate and they certainly helped me. Hope this helps and good luck.
