Hi kazzie i was on codine, then on tramadol which is good and now as my pain is so bad i take both together. i would try tramadol which your gp will give you as long as you say codine isn't helping. but tramadol can make you feel dizzy and tied. good luck finding a pain killer that will help and i hope the pain calms down for you. davina.x

Kazzie, I think you need to take a stomach protector, like Lanzoprasole or omeprazole to protect your stomache from any medication you are taking you need to ask your reummy or gp. t.c.

They stop the amount of acid building up in your stomach, medication and painkillers especialy anti inflams can cause a lot of acid, which can eventualy burn away at your stomach and can cause ulcers or small bleeds. Your GP will know if you need them.tc.

tramadol doesn't do anything for the pain for me but it chills me out, which helps sometimes!
