Subject: Spasms

Hi all! Just thought i'd pick your brains before I hassle my GP AGAIN lol. Well it's nearly 2am and I can't sleep because i'm getting awful spasms in my right calve. Now my PA affects then tendons in that leg from my heel to the back of my knee but it's usually a dull ache with tenderness or feels like I've attempted the splits lol but I've never had spasms like this before. An Arthur facebook friend of mine suggested my potassium could be low because of the mtx but I just don't know what to think all I know it's PAINFULL. Any ideas guys? XXX

Hi Abbie, nothing worse than being in pain in the small hours is there? I get these spasms, and the only thing i found helped was to massage the area, or walk around a little, could you maybe ring your gp and have a word with him? He may be able to give you some self help ideas, don't worry about hassling him, its his job, and a well paid one, to help you.
big hugs, maz.
xx
