Hi folks, martin from Ireland here. I'm 50, and have the wear and tear variety. Well actually it's a mixture of muscle pain and oeswhatchmacallit. I don't how long I have it, but it was diagnosed as yokebobs about a year ago. It's minor. I'm able to play tennis. But i stick to doubles in the main. The thing that bother me when it's at it's worst or thereabouts is bending. It doesn't keep me awake at nights. I know it's a small complaint, but it would be nice if i could play tennis without having problems getting back up after bending. I guess it's more stiffness than actual pain. Although there have been times usually when walking when it felt like i couldn't breathe. Those were the worst times, but have been few and far between. I tried acupunctre. The first time time it worked great. I was pain and stiffness free or near to it for about two weeks. I even played some singles tennis. the other few times, not so effective. Still I might try it again. I also see a chiropractor, which helps. No I don't see both at the same time. I tend to sit at the computer too long. I also like to mediate with legs crossed. But I wonder if that can cause stiffness. I have been trying deep heat patches, but not sure if they did any good or not. Advice welcome. Bye for now. M
