Subject: Experience of morphine?

Because this recent flare is so bad and my usual pain killers aren't doing anything, I've been prescribed morphine. Have it in liquid form. First dose is half spoon which is 5mg and if need be next dose whole spoon which is 10mg and so on If need be to two spoons which will be 20mg. Can take it every 4hrs. Will go back weds when it will be apparent what dose I need and he will then give it to me in slow release pill form. Just interested in others experiences of this? Thanks!

Ah your funny Jill! Cheered me up? No i'm measuring it precisely. The Rheumy said it's Only tempory. If after 3 more mtx injections i'm still in pain i'll be seen in emergency clinic and they may introduce a biologic. Makes me laugh, rheumy said a couple of weeks ago, If my mouth sores come back she'll see me straight away but when I have a bad flare and need morphine I can wait a few weeks lol X
