Subject: Flare ups

Hi everyone! Ive seen my consultant today and she was talking about some ppl have flares ups quite far apart, like once every six months? I get flare ups every bloomin week! Always have done!

How often does every one else have flare ups? (Not just normal arthritis pain, i mean when its properly active and swollen, hot etc)

Hope everyone is well! Or as well as can be expected : )

I get at least one bad flare up a week, but i do know some people where they don't get any for over a month.
I find i flare up when stressed be it at work or commuting to work or if i try and do to much exercising or chores around the house.

regards

Paul

b4 i Started Enbrel, every week, Like Val really, finish one t5o go onto another, well, almost like a continous flare up for a month!, then a week of 'freedom kinda' and then Boom, another bliddy Flare up! BUT since having combined therapy of MTX and Enbrel, the flare ups r less, say every 3 months, hoever, still get pain that I live with daily, so confusing really, I go by if Im bedriden, then that isd a flare up, sometimes I can just have a couplke Bad days in bed, tha I call a Mini flare up....hope that kinda helps

hmm my 'swelling' joints are in my right hand fingers.. i guess every 5-6 weeks? it tends to be different fingers. at the start of feb it was my pointer finger, and yesterday my middle. weird. it's early days for me tho, going on treatment next week so hopefully will make the flare ups even less..
