Verity I had some done years ago by a Chiropracter of all people. He was treating me for OA of the spine and the needles were PAINFUL but I can't say it did anything spectacular really. I've recently had emg muscle tests and they put fine needles into my legs which is very similar to acupuncture needles I should think. Got to have another one ordered by the Neuro.

HI one and all, i had Accupuncture on my spine before they knew i had Arthritis did not work for me, being an Holistic Therapist i have tried most things, all i came out with was a load of bruising lol it is great to try new things to help our pain i give myself Reiki treatments and self heal as i am a Reiki Practioner i do believe in it, i have seen the results on people and animals, it works for some and not others, but i think to a degree it all depends on what is wrong with someone, great that you tried it Verity if you had not tried it you would never had known, take care girlie x x

Hi guys, I had accupuncture when I was young (13ish) and I dont remember it doing anything. I suppose becasue its now on the NHS I expected a little more from it. A more definitive reaction maybe. Im gonna keep at it because they say it can take a few sessions. It'd be nice if there was anyone on here that it has helped lol. Maybe its just a bit rubbish for arthritis?!?!
