the lightest kettle i know is the 5 quid cheap ones from sains or tescos......they will go thru with u all your day to day issues, write a list, or u may forget stuff, infact they will ask U the questions, they know what to ask u, my OT asked me things I didnt even think of, like the setee being raised, mine is high already, but it wasnt suitable to be raised, anyway, my fella cld put small blocks of wood in all corners or setter to raise it i guess, they ask same for your bed, think u have to have castors tho(other may know more bout that) again mine wasnt suitable, that was when she offered me a Pillow riser, amazing....goood luck for then ok....tc xx

hi Jill, thanks for those tips. I rang my housing association today and got a really good response from the woman in change of adaptations. She said if they are under 2,000 squid they don't need an assessment and she is sending someone round to look at my bathroom and the locks on my doors straight away. I will get an OT assesment as think I need my shower changing (so can actually use it lol) and bathroom floor to be made non slip. Also need something done to outdoor gate and steps, lethal in that bad weather, couldn't get out.

I was very surprised at how helpful she was as my housing assoc are known for being completely rubbish at just about everything! I guess the proof is in the pudding or is it in the eating - or is it the proof of the pudding is in the eating? Anyway, spect you know what I mean!
Am going away tomoz for few days so don't be surprised if you don't hear from me.
