HI krystal, seem to remember talking to u a while back, ive not been on for ages, so forgive me if ive got the wrong person.....is this your first rummy appt?ok if its your first, try take someone with u, so that U can remember what was said, often we forget, its good to have two sets of ears....also write down everything that happens to u, how u struggle say to day, hoiw the pain is, if it aches, or if it is a stabbing pain, U will also be guided by him, as he will ask U how u feel, and where it hurts etc,, if it wakes u at night, can u work etc? he will ask u lots of things, there will be a nurse present also, and he will ask to examine u,particularly where u have the pain......once he gets an idea of your pain, he will probably offer to see u again in 2 months, to see if the pain has settled down, or got worse....he will offer u some pain relief if u need it,ask for the best painkillers if u r suffering.....on a first appt, it seems we tend to forget to ask important questions, so take a note and write down everything, and how its affecting your life....all this helps to get a diagnosis ok...hope this helps u, dont be afraid either, they r there to help and support u....let us know how u get on x
