Subject: cold ankles
I've got inflammatory arthritis including in my ankles but lately have started to get very cold ankles as well. Never had this before. Anyone else got similar problem?

Hi Sally!
I have RA and get very cold feet. I think its the swelling in the leg joints that make your circulation bad isn't it? Or something like that! I got these microwavable wheat slippers for christmas. Or resting your feet on a hot water bottle might help?

hi sue and verity, I guess you must be right. I've seen those slippers - might get some. I am draping a wheat bag over them but it isn't very effective lol!

Just in case you are interested, I've just ordered some ankle warmers :) from a dance website. Lots of other goodies to be found so looking forward to warmer ankles!

My fella bought me some lovely pull on slippers that go up past the ankle, got them from river island, they r furlined, and wear them all the time now, feet and ankles r so warm, so hope this helps someone out there....better than lots socks.... u can buy cheaper ones for 8 quid from sainsbury too

my daughter sharon has a pair of them and i was going to buy some last saturday but other daughter lisa told me that sharon have bought me a pair for my wedding anniversary so will have to wait til the 17th for warm feet!
