I developed rheumatoid arthritus when i was just 16 years old, i am now 17, 18 in march. RA as some people refer to it, effectively makes no difference to my life whatsoever, i think i am extremely lucky in being able to control the disease through a range of methods, including refelxology, taking glucosamine based tablets to help strenghten my bones and ligaments and by using the immune modifying drug Enbrel which i inject myself once a week. i know exactly what it feels like to be in soo much pain, both mentally and physically, i understand what it feels like to be different from all of your other friends, i can sympathise with anyone, no matter how young or how old who has this devastating disease (or one of a similar sort).
