Hi Lisa...YES ive had it Lots of times.... only last week when Shaz had her eye trouble I thort maybe it was Iritis, luckily it wasnt..... Ive had so many flare ups in the past, and I always ended up with Iritis...its a nasty inflamation of the Iris, and MUST be treated as serious, as it can lead to glaucoma! the sterois drops r nasty and sting so bas when u drop them in.....but I also had Iritis so bad(first flare up)and I had to use diff drop that made my eyes blurred for weeks, was a nitemare...had a total red ring around the Iris!! anyway, did u know that if u see the eye specialist at the hosp, and if U have a flare up, U can ring up and go see them Immed. dont take the drops for granted, each time U feel Iritis come on, U must go see an eye specialist...wont nag u lol Im sure they told u.....I must also say, it does get better once your condition is under control..... R.A. sufferers do get it...I have Inflam Artha, so I( get it a lot.....I can feel symptoms coming on by having eye pain, and painful temples.... u will learn to notice the signs!...take care ok.... and now u know someome else that has it...U r not alone.... many get it..and it is related to their con dition....some dont get it....lucky them eh? Jill x

Lisa hi they have an SOS book...should have your name in it.;...so if u need to see an ophalmologist(cant spell that lol) u will get an emergency appt that day, or within hour or two.... becos it is a nasty conditon...ask about it.... the reception area of that eye dept shld have ya number and name in there with the conditon that u have....becos mb u mite get a few more regular flare ups, but I promise U, they always want to see u, rather than u self administer Steroid eye drops, just incase it isnt Iritis.... but more importantly, if it is, they check as u know behind the back of the eye, looking for inflamation in the cells..... so check that out..... stay well xx

Lisa I know exactly how u feel, whne our eyes hurt, we dont feel like putting on makeup coz they r sore....its not vain, its basic principle us gals do.... for ages i didnt bother colouring my roots, was getting greyer by the day lol...anyway, my best m8 pampered me as an early xmas prezzie, had hair dyed(all needed doing lol, not just roots) lovley cut, and eyebrow wax....felt fab, hair silky n shiney, made me feeel gorjus, but guess what...got a flare up at mo, in lot of pain with neck, collar bone, shoulders and upper spone, seeing thummy tomoz for steroid jab, massive swelling on top of spine where the neck begins.... so glad had hair all done, or i would still look a mess lol...but today....eating an orange and my crown in the front(next to the frong teeth) fell out!!!!! now i look like a hag!! lololo....forgot it had gone, my daughter knocked on the door, I opened it and smiled and she larfed her head offf lololol i realised then that my crown was missing lol....oh well there is always the funny side of things i guess......but i cld cry right now over this pain...... had this b4, but that was due to my shoulders growing spurs and they were trapping the tendons, feels just like that again in the shoulder, and on top of that, my neck!!! grrrrrrrrrr take all these Biologic meds and immuse suppresants and still im gettting probs...... I know its due to a flare up, but seems a big one this time..... will c what they say tomoz.... mite get an MRI scan....will pop in tomoz and tell ya what they suggested...... anyway...hope ya ok and keep taking those eye drops xx
