Karen Hi my best m8 is having a shower room installled, taking bath out for more space and its going to be re tiled, chnage of flooring, step in shower etc....she is disabled too.... she got one becos she cant get in and out of bath at all...ans she cant bath her child....U cld try and get same... tell them U cant get in and out of bath...tell them U dont washm just use wet wipes, tht way it will make them think better about your reason to have one.... ask for better taps if no new shower room, plus get grab rails around the bath..and toilet area...plus they will put in another banister for upstairs....I have two now, helps lots to get upstairs better.... the OT will come to your hse and look around for u ok....they will help u with all your needs.... u can even have rails put outside your house if there r stairs.... so goood luck and push for that shower room....Jill x
