does anyone with ra have diabetis as well as i have got all the symtons fot that but dont know wether is cause they have highered my dose of mx just wondering if anyone has both thanks

Hi karen.... lately ive thirsty, mouth feels like cotton wool(my fella is diabetic) know wot he means now lol... he wants me to do wee test on the keysticks they give u at docs.....im sonstantly wanting to suck on boiled sweets, and becos of that, the lining in my mouth is raspy...if u get what i mean.....he thinks that eating lots of boiled sweets will bring diabetis on...but im not so sure about that..... im tired, but then we all get fatigued....havnt lost any weight tho! my fella lost 3 stone b4 they found out he had diabetes, 6 years now... anyway, goood luck and let us know wot happens xx

hi well been rhumy nurse today as am havin hot sweats nausea as well and she has sent me to docs to moz so see what he says if every else ruled out it could be my mx tablets .oh i dont know is so hard livin with this every day is diffrent

Hi karen i have type 2 diabetes as well as RA at the moment i have to control it with diet my sister has diabetes and has to inject so i know about diabetes as well. If you are worried ask your doctor and you will have to have a fasting blood test and they will see what your blood sugar levels have been for the last few months and they they will be able to tell you if you have it hope tjhat helps x

have been docs and have to go blood test on monday so will see what happens but have felt a bit better today and have not to take my mx tabs now untill find out whats goin on just as i think they were startin to kick in .they have give me some gloves to wear which seem to be helpin my hands .so will see what happens over the next few days thanks everyone
