Subject: HIP AGONY!!
ok guys some of us have hip pain, some of us dont all the time......im in frigging agony with mine, mainly at night.....ok have had surgery on right hip, they removed the Bursa(its like a protective covering so the joints run over each other smoothly?? think thats right lol) anyway, my other hip is killlling me, cld SCREAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!! ok done that,, feeel better now lol, lying of course, still hurts, think ive gotta go ssee GP, get a steroid jab, anyone else had Bursa or Bursitis in the Hips? u wls know if ya had, cos its painful lol and ya cannot ignore it...... take care all Jill

Hiya J. I have bursitis in my right hip, I had it injected, f"""""g ow. It only worked for a week, my left one is almost as bad. I probably will have to get more injections, not looking forward to it.

Bernie I had my right hip Bursa removed...... and I think I need left one removed.....the injections made me SCREAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM in agony!! did take the pain away for about threee months, which was a long time, but need another...m ight have it removed yet....have they mentioned to u that U can have the BURSA REMOVED?? big op I must admit....ten metal studs(not stitches) huge scar, altho faded well now.... worth it tho...

Hi Jill, no there as no mention of getting it removed, they will probably inject again to see how I get on. I don't think i'd like an operation.

Hi, Ive had cortisone injected into both hips. The injections did hurt but I got pain relief for around 3 months, not totl pain relief but I found I could function without being in agony Ive just had synvic injections and am in bed recovering as we speak Take care Lucy

hi lucy hope they work well for u not at that stage my self but do get quite bad hip pain so feel for any one suffering with it have good rest while u can good luck take care val
