Hi All - I first posted a couple of weeks ago when I was first diagnosed with RA. I seem to be getting steroid withdrawal symptoms at the mo.-was on Prednisolone for 15 days and was tapered down properly. finished tablets last Thursday but have had a headache since Sat. and feel nausea, weak, shakey - just a bit wierd really. My GP knows nothing,so she was no help. She even told me I can take Arthrotec NSAIDs with Methotrexate but that's not quite right- they can interact. Still I do feel a lot better after the ster. - that RA pain is horrible. Anyhow, just thought I would pop in and say hello. I do read the posts most days and have replied once or twice.
Jo - sorry to hear your Daughter has been diagnosed with RA at such a young age too!
Hugs to all but not too tight aye? (lol)

Hi Jill
They haven't said how yet, maybe I will no more when see rheumy in nov. I thought maybe it is ra? It started in fingers about 5 years ago, but now in shoulders, some toes, ankles, also get terrible pain in legs, also wrists seem to be joining the party (my little joke). I didn't see rheumy after mri, he just sent me a letter saying "confirms an imflamatory arthritis, here is a script for steroids. and will see you in nov to start mxt or sulpha" Great Hey. hugs to you
Nora, hope you feel better now coming off steroids, hugs to you.
