Hi everyone,
I haven't been on the site for a while. I have been a little fed up as I am getting no-where with all the tests. They don't seem to be able to pick up much, they have put me on vitamin D and calcium tablets as I have a deficiency. Still taking the amitriptylene and arcoxia which don't do much to help. I had a couple of weeks when the pain was low level and I was thinking great maybe it's burning itself out, but no, since the weekend it's going downhill again. I work full time with my husband (we run a small business) and he has to do most of the work as my ankles and feet are really sore to stand on and my hands and wrists only allow short bursts of activity. As you all know, doing housework is a problem, I have never had such a grubby house lol!! Anyway, still having blood tests done but have heard nothing for months for rhummy Doc. don't even have another appointment, think he is washing his hands of me because he can't find much. All he says is that there is a problem but he doesn't know what!! Sorry for all the moaning but it's good to get it out. My husband is great but he must be really really tired of listening to me and watching me move like a snail!! Thanks all and hope your day is being kind to you.

Hi Guys,
Thank you so much for your support, it means a lot. We supply hairdressers and beauticians with their products Kristin, not very glamorous. Until about 6 months ago I was lifting 16 Litres at a time regularly every day, now I take a back seat and my husband does the heavy lifting, I concentrate on admin and light packing. I hate not pulling my weight but until we can afford to take on help it's just the two of us.
Yes Jill I will do something about speaking to someone. The painkillers are a bit of an issue, I take paracetamol when I need it as I can't take codeine based pills, they make me very sick. The rhummy said he would refer me to a pain clinic but haven't heard anything. I think my problem is I get fed up and then lazy chasing people but I must pull my socks up, no one else is going to do it for me!!! Have a good evening ladies.
