Subject: Neck and shoulder pain
Hi All
Has anyone got any idea how to get rid of an absolutly knawing pain in the shoulder blade, that travels up your neck, down your arm, affecting my hand, making them both feel weak? It is driving me mad, i have taken every pill i have got, put hot water bottles and deep heat cream on, to no avail. Also my calf in my left leg feels as if it is going into cramp, although thankfully it does not, just goes heavy. I am frightened to try the cold peas bag i use sometimes, because i am cold enough without it. Who said we were going to have a hot summer, i am froze. I will be glad to see the physio on Tuesday, cannot come quick enough. Thanks

hi can not help just wanted u to know u not on your own sounds like trapped nerve could be wrong as not had it when u move your arm how does it feel try gentle movements of shoulder to c how it moves some times my shoulder does not come out but moves a bit and until it crunches back very painfull have u had hot bath fingers crossed it just u slept in a draft and will soon be better

I agree, prob trappped nerve, it will go intime, hot bath, wif loads bubblys bubbles ....Monica, see specialist, ok.... the weakness bit u mention bothers me, go see someone that knows asap ok , let us know how u get on x

Hi Jill
Going tomorrow to see sports physio, to see what tens machine can do, this is my gps idea. Will give it a try, but first thing i shall tell her about my neck/shoulder pain. Really sharp at times, driving me nuts.I will let you know tomorrow what she thinks, also what she does.
