Will free a little of your time up now.

Those painkiller patches do they make you dizzy. I need to upgrade mine. The slow release aspect appeals to me. Only on co codamol at the min. They. Were good enough, but my back has kicked off again so could do with sommat a bit stronger. Got to go now for tea catch you in a whilexxxxxxx

Hi Sweetheart...Co Cod r good, but u know your pain Lynney, and if ya struggling then its obvious to me that ya need summat a wee bit stronger... I was on the patches for a while, and I thought they were amazzzzzzing! i began on the normal dose they prescribe, but soon went up to the maximum dose......must say tho Lynne, they did make me at First they made me feel sicky, Dizzzy, funny u shld have mentioned that... but they really helped me........ I only chnaged from the patches as my m8 the one with the Disc that was 'Shaved away'(little snigger to myself!)anyway i began to get breakthru pain, so she suggested that I ask Our Gp for Zomorph...so I changed....and they were amazing....still on them with co cod......funny, lawst night my hip was agonizing... I woke up with pain, took 2 co cods, and took an hour for the pain to totally go....so I think Co Cod r gr8, but not alone....Lynne, mb ask ya GP for the Buphrenorphine (transtec) patches or ask to try Zomorph, slow release tabs....im on a very high dose, but they will give u the prescribed dose to begin with, then u can go up till the pain is controlled..... hope that helps sweetie

lots love Jilly x

crap happens and that is what we r here for to listen to each other about things we would not tell others . my youngest fell off a wall at 11 and spent week in hospital with fractured skull lost his hearing in one ear and had to learn his balance all over again just telling u so u understand that i get where u r coming from we would take all the pain from our children if we could and save them suffering so u must be up and down at the moment but putting on brave face for all of us my friend u r ace

Jill - congratulations on your sons GCSE's! That's really really good, and they're really quite difficult and stressful too - I'd hate to do mine again.
Big hugs for everything else that's happening.

ASk for that MRI, fact u have R.A. shouldnt be a prob to get on asap.... that pain u have in the Thoracic spine, becos I have arthritis all thru spine, mine is stiff and ther eisnt any movement at all(there shld be a little in normal back) but i have none, anyway...its your Muskles going into spasm....I get that, can be veryyyyyyy painful(diff type of pain, not shoooting) but a deeeep ache!
