Subject: very concerned
Hi, I crnt sleep tonight as been in alot of pain with my wrists n even a bath hasnt helped. Neway im freaking out abit cuz i try and lift anything (cup/glass/book ect) my wrists seem to like stop working n my hands start to shack .. is this normal for artheritus? Cuz ive always been worried taht summat else is linked in cuz of amount of tiredness. Hope e1 is welll

hi i have had this from time to time also let go of things so break loads of glasses lol a lot of us on here break things. the tiredness also part of arther hope u have some pain killers so u can get some sleep have u been over doind it i get shakes when i do did earlyer had to take pain killers and have a rest lol.

Hi Val, Thanks for your msg im in a right state. I have been started on sum asthma treatment n ra seems to have got worse :( ive got no pain killers plus i tuk sum prem (steroids) at 10. Hope it dont last long :( i feel silly for my sudden freak out now i kno its normal :( lol

we all freak out it is so frightning we all think we have somthing really bad as we feel so bad. sorry u like this i am sure it will pass ask doc about it then u will know for sure i found it very frightening we had a discusion about it on here few weeks ago have good day

Hi vicky sorry you were having a bad time , hope your feeling better. I've had R A for over 20yrs. It's quite normal to drop stuff or have week hands it's the inflamation in the joints that does it. The fatigue is also a large part of the arthritis. Have you got a rheumatologist yet. What meds you on. I think if I were you I would go back to the Docs and ask for some pain killers. Paracetamol on ibuprofen is not strong enought to take away the pain, when you have a flare up you are always welcome to come and have a rave on here there are some very nice people who are always willing to listen and offer advice and support should you wish it take care hope you feel better soon

Hiya, Im feeling a little better today but still very weak wrists. I weighed myself today n ive lost another 2lbs im now 5stone 6lbs (5 n half stone). Hi Lynne, i have a rhmertologist who im due to see on the 18th august the only problem is i have a conflicting health problem and so until my heart team give go ahead i crnt go on any treatment as im also under investigation for possible heart surgery (it never rains it pours). My asthma has also flared up and im back on inhalours, seem i have bad luck with health! Anyway take care, hoep everyone is well x

I agree with Lynne, Ibuprofen really isn't strong enough, and it could be this that makes your asthma worse. I suffer from asthma and was told to be careful when I was taking them as it can make it flare up. Take care xxx

Is your GP not trying to get to the bottom of this weight loss, your loosing weight awfully quickly. Would get back k there soonest take care xxx
