Subject: 1. 30 am wide awake

I should be asleep but my hip had other ideas so up on the pc again! waiting for pain killers to kick in, wondering if things will ever be normal again. Just wanted to share. Hi everyone :)

hi jenny was much the same with my feet last nite nearly came on but was shattered so went back to bed after taking pain killers was feeling more than bit fed up. still aching(one way of saying hurting like whailing banshees cant spell)just eating so can take pain killers lol . hope your hip bit better what did u say they were going to do 4 you about it?

Hi Val I am waiting for a letter to see the consultant so I dont know yet what they are going to do. I want to see if maybe the birmingham hip replacement is an option before it gets worse and the only option is a full one.

poor u hope they sort it soon this pain is horrid and rules your life even when u dont want it to good luck take care and a pain free day

thanks val you too. I was just thinking (as i was coming down the stairs on my bottom this morning) how I have taken all of my options in life for granted and now some of them are restricted. But there are worse things that happen to people so I count all my blessings. like all of us on here i guess i have to rethink life and adjust it to fit. Guess I will never be a ballet dancer! but hey i can still do art and crafts wont let it interfere with that. All the best

tried that once but could never get foot behind head so gave up lol. i love to read so glad can still do that stick to paper backs some times have to read in fits and starts but will not give it up. also love coming on here and seeing how every one doing so would never have found this place with out arther lol :-)

hi doc said oa but only had blood tests going back on 17th (when she back off hol) to get checked out would say only mild but to tell truth its taking over at the moment in pain all the time :-( never realised how much was affecting me till looked at how to fill in a form for help had me thinking i can not do that did not realise i was avoiding certain seats ect. but sure will get it under control soon fingers crossed. spend all my time making sure fit to get to work (do 4 hours an afternoon) hope u feeling better and in less pain :-)

Hi Val the doc said mine was mild to mid but hurts so much sometimes. I have had a good day today thanks less pain. hope you are well.
