Hi all does anyone get dry gritty eyes. I do it's part of the arthritis. I was using liqigel eye drops for years but that has preservatives in. My optician reccomended trying systane preservative free single use vials, they come in a pack of 28. Got my GP to prescribe them for me. They work brill, no more gritty dry feeling. Got lovely bright peeps now lololol

I hi lynne I get dry gritty eyes was not aware it could be related to the arthritis. Do you need a prescription I could do with something to help. My eyes go a little blurred sometimes is that part of it and a little red too !!!

Hi jules no you don't need a prescription you can get them at the opticians costs about £6.50. Think you can also get them at the chemist too. Yes the reddness and blurred vision could be part of the same thing. Best to get them checked out at the optician to be on safe side though. I get red eyes and blurred vision. That's because I get dry spots on the White bit of my eye hence it blurrs my vision been slot better since using the new drops lol
