Subject: Vioxx

Hello, my nameās Mark Piggott and Iām writing an article about people affected by taking Vioxx. If youāve been unwell and you think Vioxx may be responsible, or a relative suffered ill-health, Iād like to hear from you. Iām particularly interested in speaking to people who have considered legal action but havenāt because of the possible financial consequences.

Hi Mark....that Drug was taken offf the Med list years ago... Im on Arcoxia....Hopefully that is fine...most ppl r rather sceptible of people that want to interview someone with help for their tv etc....I personally wldnt visit anyone that I didnt know for an interview,..... im sure anyone that had probs with Vioxx wld have already done something about it by now....that or they r dead... sorry but that is kinda true, right? goood luck... hey mb u shld arange to do a documentary on all types of Arthritis, and How bad the pain is, all joints etc, back especially, most ppl dont understand the condition, and think arthritis sufferes r a bore, and making it all up, particularly the Benefits claims dept....and usually tis only Civil servnats that decide who shld have the benefit or not!... anyway, I think for all us Suffereres of this Insidious disease should have OUR plight advertised More on TV, radio, anywhere , where regualr ppl that dont have it can see how it affects us! also that we r entitled to use our Blue Bade in the Disabled parking spaces, some ppl think we need to be in a Wheelchair to be deserving of tht space!... anyway, just an idea...goood luck...

Hi Mark
I took Vioxx from 2001 to 2004, when it was withdrawn, for Palindromic Rheumatoid Arthritis (PRA). I got on very well with it, no side effects and it kept my PRA under contol. It was the only Anti- Inflammatory medication I could take as I am seriously allergic to all the rest. So withdrawing this drug was a big disadvantage to my treatment plan. now I'm having to relay on drugs that have more serious side effects.
