Subject: oa of the jaw
iv just been told iv really bad oa in my jaw and omg it hurts, iv been taking tramadol 50mg but other than making me sick it dont work :( i just wanna talk to people that know what am going tho and with luck talk to someone thats got the same as its really getting me down and i just want it to end

poor u have oa but not of the jaw. just waiting 4 doc to call me back as have had bad night with back and foot so know how u feel the pain can be awfull it does get u down be kind to your self if u need a nap take one or if u dont feel meds doing any good go back to doc get sorted (((hug))) to keep u going know how hard it is sorry 4 your pain but dont put up with it get back to doc :-)

Hi girls sorry your not feeling well at the moment, if your pain is not under control please go back to your doctor,there is nearly always something they can do for you. Have you been refered to a rhumatologist. This illness needs specialist treatment especialy in the early stages so that less damage is caused in the future. Big hugs to all

iv been to the doctors and tramadol is the strongest they can give me but it dont help, and my oa aint in the early stages (for what the nurse told me) and iv been refered to a face clinic at the local hospital but not the rhumatologist but the place im on the waiting list has like a 12month waiting time my gp is trying to speed things up but its still gonna take months,

Hi will your doctor not consider refering you to a rheumatologist, you may be able to get in to see him sooner .. 12 months is an awful long time to wait when your in pain.. lots of hugs

My m8 who has R.A. also has jaw pain, she said its terrible.... i know ive had lots abcesses and i wanted to go nutz with the pain, dreadful.....((((hugs 4 u peeps with the jaw pain))) also there r stronger painkillers than tramadol.... ask your Docs for Transtec patches...(Buprenorphine) or Zomorph....Tramadol is weak compared to the above ive mentioned... and u dont feeel weird on them either...goood luck...and dont let the docs Fob u offf with just Ibubrofen...that isnt that goood alone...
