Subject: swine flu local to me
Hi guys I know swine flu is now everywhere, last night my daughter went out with a couple m8s in their car, then the girl told my daughter, "My bros got swine flu"....then today, the girl now has it...I had to ring my GP and tell him the story, and now my daughter is having to go on tamiflu becos shes a chronic asthmatic!! Im so angry becos the girl who we hve known since 4, also knows i have crap immune system and that my daughter is astmatic!! ther girls whole family have it now.....my gp said he isnt worried about me yet, unlesss my daughter does infact get swine flu.... friggging scared here..... anyone else have it close to them??

poor u just starting here. my nephew and nice had it last week down in oxford some where. fingers r crossed u dont get it not sure why doc not given u tabs but keep your eye on your daughter hope she ok not suprised u scared thinking of u big hug

well GP said that becos I havnt been in direct contact with the swine flu girl, that for the moment to c what happens with my daughter...if she does get it, Touch wood she will be ok, but thts when I get the tamiflu tabs...appparently in august we will get the innoculation ? oh well what will be will be....take care all x

Hi gals.... so far my daughter seems fine...but now my other daughter tellls me that one guy that was at the party fri, he has symptoms(my gal works with him) his siter has it confirmed....blimey its deffo getting closer....but ive decided not to worry now...bit too close to home, cant beleive my youngest gal is on tamiflu....but I will worry if a fever happens.... no point worrying, done that for weeks now...however, I try and avoid crowds anyway, what do otehrs do? does it bother u crowds etc, I must say, even without this flu outbreak, I always watched where I go and never eat out....

Yes I'm concerned too have stocked up on tins food and long life milk etc so that if the flu does get closer I won't have to shop as often xx

LOL thank god wayno isnt in here to reply to your posting lolol roflllmaooooooooo...he wld crucify ya!!....just been told tonight Lynne when I collected my son from primary school, that a child has been diagnosed....not letting him go tomoz.... alos my daughter has now told me shes feels hot and cold... shes the one on the tamiflu....starting to feel freaked out here...feel trapppped....also my other sone has got terrrible tonsils, they wont remove them and he keeps saying they ache...so gotta take him to docs tomoz... hate going into the gps surgery, what I now do, is wait outside, they come get me when its my turn....

I souls really be in for it from wayno would't I. Mind you they are just emergNcy supplies. I have fresh veggie from my allotment Nd the good thing about there is there are usually no people around in the day cos they are all working. Gosh it really is closing in around you... Is doc going to give you tamiflu?. Take extra care xxx

Hi Jill, my daughter 'phoned me a couple of hours ago and said she had contacted NHS 24 last night and after talking to a couple of people they have said she has a mild case of swine flu. Her work is psychic/spirit mediumship so she has cancelled her clients for a while, and I won't be able to see her either. I am so sorry to hear about your daughter's friend being so inconsiderate towards everyone around her, we can only hope you are lucky, fingers crossed for you.
