Hi bernie not got that I have RA. Hope you get the treatment you need to get it under control. Sometimes you have to be persistant with your rheumy and confront them which is very hard to do when your not well and in pain. Take care

Hi bernie lynnes right about being persistant with your rheumy I really had to kept telling him how bad I was. Before I got the meds I needed. It's hard but worth it in the end. Other wise they'll put you off take care

Hi Bernie
I haven't 'spoken' to you yet but read your post and the one Jill sent earlier about your condition. Just wanted to say hi and send power hugs, hope you feel better soon and please do not worry about moaning, thats what were here for right? i know what you mean tho, you wish you didnt have to moan and its hard when you feel like youre being a burden but sounds like you have a really supporting family and boyfriend and the only thing they worry about is having to see you in so much pain. Its a lot to put up with isnt it, so youre coping extremely well. I will be thinking of you.

Bernie ((((love N hugs for u)))) Please ring that rhummys secretary and ask for another appointment....he told u that u had Bursits... y does he think u have Fibromagia? they usually tell someone that if they arnt sure what the person has got ? also I ws told by my rhummy a few years ago that I also have shronnic pain sysndrome.... but at end of the day, we all have that with the diff types of Arthritis we have in here..... seems to me hes not listening to u Bernie...Please take someone with U, tht will also ask him direct questions for U...they wont mind that, U really MUST get a correct diagnosis Bernie, no one goes thru all that pain that u r having without a correct diagnosis, and I dont beleive Fibro is a good enuff diagnosis...I know I m not any expert at all, but ive often heard that fibro is the poor persons arthritis...if u get what i mena.....hes fobbbing u offf.... Hope im not talking out of turn, and Im not out to offend peeps with fibro, cos i knwo thatis nasty, but its so close to arthritis, how can he say u have fibro, when u clearly have Bursitis symptoms ?? whens ur nxt appt Bernie? lots love Jill xxxx

Hello all, I know I have Bursitis but also my body aches all over, I can't let any one touch my arms, legs, tummy, all my muscles really. I have to get an mri scan to see what's going on. That was the third rhummy I have seen in a year, first one said I had oa in my hands and feet, then my hips started to hurt and the second one said I have bursitis, now my body aches all over and the third one says I have chronic pain syndrome and a rare form of fibro, so, I really don't know what to think at this stage. I'm gonna ring the mri sec tommorrow to push my appointment. My body is falling to pieces since last May.

Bernie that is a goood idea...always ring the sec rather than the apppointment team...souunds like arthritis to me bernie...anad oftene u do get conflicting advice from too many rhummys.... one of mine totally disagreed with the other......U will get it worted....but u defffo need stronger pain relief....can u ask for Zomorph, its morphine based....dont let that worrry u, they dont make u feeel dizzzy etc... but they help with the intense pain...goood luck x
