Hi val. I'm afraid you have to take your meds
not just when you feel ill. You need to take them as prescribed by your doc. All the time that's perhaps why you keep having so many flare ups. Sorry Hun but that's how they work better. Hopefully you'll feel better for the wedding. I know it's not pleasant having to keep taking the meds but it is the only way to stay reasonably stable. Good luck xxx

Hope your feeling better today val. Did not know you have not got a rheumy perhaps it's time your GP refered you. You seem to be in too much pain too often. Think you need the big boys to look at you . Hope your better for the wedding. Take care

Val something playing on my mind about your meds. As far as I am aware nsards take up to two months normally to kick in and for you too feel the benefit. Would def try to book an appointment with another doc if you can't get to see your usual one. It seems odd to me that he only Dvuses you to take then on a flare up. Seems a bit late then. They are supposed to stop you flaring up. Would be interested what the others think. Ask jill good luck val

I was of the same opinoin as lynne I aS told I had to take naproxin all the time and that it would take a couple of months to have full effect. No wonder your always in pain. I def would see your gp about it asap xxxx
