Hi Jan can understand your worries. As with Jill above I've been there. had to give up work 20yrs ago. Was worried about loosing my house too then I found out that I could claim Disability Living allowance (DLA) and incapacity benefit. That was enough to help me through. As Jill asked if you've been diagnosed, if you have it will help you to claim this benefit. The up side is you can also claim it even if you are working..
Take care

hi I am new here too and feeling very old at 50 just told i have it in my hip and at somepoint will need a new one. Its scary and unexpected after being healthy all my life. And reading on here that there are so many young people with it trying to cope was a real eye opener i thought it was just an old age thing.. The best thng is sharing with people that understand it sort of takes the burden off family members.
all the best jenny x
