well off to hospital again in the morning so will let u know how i got on , really dont want to go again and sit there for nearly 3 hours but hey if it works would be good. Nurse sed shes gonna get rhummy in to look at my hand as well so see wot he has to say x

Hiya well woke up this morning and felt really crap think i might have a cold coming but ached everywhere. Anyway went to hospital for the infusion and was glad when it was over veins were playing up today so got a lovely bruise lol anyway i did get to see the rhummy he came and had a chat with me and looked at my hands and feet he basically said that on my next appointment with him in august if it is still the same i will proberly have to go on more meds ie Metotrexate and if that doesn't work have the injections. well i know they are doing all they can for me and i have been very lucky that i can see the rhummy nurses as soon as i need to and also have seen the rhummy consultant twice already in 3 months and lots of u wait months but i still feel scared. I know this will pass i'm just having a bad day today after having the infusion my mouth always feel like i'm sucking metal its awful and for some reason i always feel really panicky after having it and have been really down tonight few tears well actually a lot of tears (i'm not a squinny honest)but luckily i have a wonderful husband who gives me lots of hugs and waits on me hand and foot bless him.Anyway sorry to be on such a downer at the moment girls but i'm sure i will bounce back and tomorrow is another day ay love to all xx

same as lynne lotts and lotts of hugs. u deserve a few tears after what u have been through also the thought of what u might have to go through makes us all down from time to time .spoil your self u deserve it and have a good scream on here we r with u girl go 4 it

Have you just had the 'Retuximab' Infusion? I've just had my second dose on Mon 6 July. You definitely need 7 days to get over each one. I think the fatigue is the main problem, although after the first one (2 weeks ago) I did have chest pains and nausea on exertion so I have listened to my body and completely rested this time. I've also got very emotional - more than likely because the body is going through so much and messing up the chemical balance. Apparently our tongues are very vascular so if anything is going through our veins then our tongue will be sensitive to it. Hang on in there and if any of you need to chat about retuximab infusions, I'm here! Dont forget it is a mild form of chemotherapy so bound to make us feel shit!

DELLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA (((((hugs for u sweetie)))) im so glad u have a gr8 rhummy, and getting the meds so fast(not fast enuff for u I know) but in the scheme of things, they r getting u prepared fast for the meds... u do need them, when ive taken my MTX i have that metalic taste too, hate it...I take mine at night along with my jabs, so I dont feel it going thru the bod during the day, that works best for me.....take care ok LOts and lots of love and huggles xxxxx

Hi there my friends thankyou for the kind kind words again hi jo no it wasn't a retuximab infusion a steroid infusion. Well i wont tell u the night i had was awful went to bed quite late as i had palpitations all bloody night then hubby woke when i did go and he couldn't sleep i was back downstairs at 4am and eventually went to bed at 6.30 and did eventually sleep till 12 but i do feel a bit better today just hope i have a good night tonight. u are all so patient with me moaning all the time sorry ive been a misery its just one step forward two steps back it seems. Well shall just wait and see what happens but yet again i dont think it has worked this time so shall see what they decide and keep on smiling for now :)

awww thanks val hows the bruise ive got a lovely bruise as well had to try 3 times to get the drip in as my veins kept collapsing so got lovely black one on my arm lol we match now haha x

we would look great going down street. had to take today off work just could not go did not sleep shoulder and hip painfull and stiff from running into brick wall(would not recomend it ) felt it all through body bit like whiplash so is life. truth is over did it monday as was feeling good tuesday was not with it tut tut will never learn
